For a first sightseeing tour we recommend a snowshoe hike through the idyllic winter landscape or you can use the 80 km cross-country network in the Salzburger Saalachtal and roam the picturesque region. The ski bus takes you to the Almenwelt Lofer ski area within a few minutes for free directly to the Almbahnen! Once at the top, it's off to the groomed slopes! No matter if you are a beginner or a professional, there is a suitable section for everyone.

For those who like to be active in the evening, we recommend the toboggan run Maria Kirchental, which can be reached on foot in just a few minutes. The toboggan run is lit with torches every Thursday. Directly in front of the house of the apartments Oktavia is a skating rink, where you can always turn a few laps, if you bring your skates! 

Snowtubing is fun and action-packed - race down the track on a large slip tire! The snowtubing course is located on the Almenwelt Lofer. For romantic hours, a round trip by horse-drawn sleigh is close. Through a beautiful winter landscape with glittering snow and chirping birds leads the sleigh leader!
