We also recommend the Maria Kirchental natural toboggan run to our guests for a jovial and fun-filled time. The toboggan run is located only a few minutes away on foot from the Oktavia guesthouse. You can either reach the Höhental on foot or by taxi. Once you are at the top, a tempting cup of hot chocolate at the Kirchentalwirt inn awaits to warm you up again. 

After regaining your strength, off you go onto the toboggans! Race down the exciting toboggan run with your nearest and dearest! The little ones will also be visibly delighted by this toboggan fun. You can even venture out onto the toboggan run in the evenings – every Thursday from 20:00 hrs, the track is illuminated by burning torches. 

There is a further exciting toboggan run in Lofer at the Knappenstadl restaurant. The toboggan run is illuminated every evening except Thursday! In the Knappenstadl, you can regain your strength after the ascent with some culinary specialities.
